Following March’s EGM, we are pleased to confirm that all proposed resolutions were passed unanimously by attendees.
This marks the successful conclusion of a two-year legal challenge and represents a significant milestone in strengthening the foundations of Nunthorpe Marton Playing Fields Association for the future.
Chairman Chris Foggin commented:
“One of my main aims on being elected chairman in 2024 was to bring legal stability to the charity. The resolutions proposed and voted on now bring the charity to a modern footing. I would like to thank all my fellow trustees and members of the charity for their support over that time — and now we build the charity further on a much more sound and legal footing.”
We would also like to extend our thanks to Wrigley’s specialist charity solicitors and the Charity Commission for their guidance and support throughout this process.
A positive step forward as we continue to build for the future.
