Welcome to the Nunthorpe & Marton Playing Fields Association (NMPFA)
The Nunthorpe & Marton Playing Fields Association (NMPFA) has been at the heart of community life in Nunthorpe, Marton, and Ormesby for over 60 years. Established to promote health, wellbeing, and community spirit through sport and recreation, the charity provides accessible facilities for people of all ages.
Founded through the vision and generosity of Lady Kathleen Harrison, the Association continues to build on her legacy by supporting a range of sports and activities, including squash, football, tennis, table tennis, pickleball, quoits, gym facilities, and saunas.
Alongside its sporting sections, the site also includes a recreation social club that hosts events and provides a welcoming space for the community to meet and connect.
Through the dedication of volunteers and members, NMPFA remains committed to maintaining and developing facilities that encourage active lifestyles and strong community ties for generations to come.

Vacancies within the NMPFA
The NMPFA are a Charity dedicated to bringing the joy of sports and community spirit to Nunthorpe! We are looking for passionate volunteers to represent their sporting section, support our recreation team, assist with gardening duties around our sports complex, help at events and enhance our Charity’s mission.
