Volunteer Recognition – Alan Calvert
The Trustees of Nunthorpe & Marton Playing Fields Association and the Recreation Club Management Committee are delighted to recognise the outstanding contributions of Alan Calvert, a long-serving supporter of the charity.
Alan’s dedication over the years – as a former Trustee and now as Treasurer of the Nunthorpe & Marton Recreation Club – has been instrumental to the smooth running of our operations. Whether it’s coordinating deliveries, overseeing the bar, or managing countless unseen tasks, Alan’s tireless efforts and commitment have made him the glue that holds the Recreation Club together.
In recognition of his exceptional service, we are proud to reinstate the Hinton & Harrison Rose Bowl Award, with Alan as its first recipient in this new chapter.
While this award had not been presented in recent years, the charity’s current administration is committed to celebrating the dedication of our volunteers and this award will feature prominently in our future plans.
