EGM Public Announcment 2026

We wish to advise all members and local residents that the Trustees of Nunthorpe Marton Playing Fields Association (NMPFA) will be convening an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) at 18:00 in the Recreation Club Bar on the 26th March 2026.
The purpose of this EGM is to formally propose a resolution relating to the charitable status of the Association.
This proposals is intended to support and give effect to the resolutions previously approved at the 2025 AGM, enabling the charity to conclude this process in a structured and compliant manner.

In line with Charity Commission best practice and our commitment to transparent governance, the Trustees have produced a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) for members and residents.

These FAQs outline the rationale for holding the EGM and provide further clarity on the proposed resolution.

We encourage all stakeholders to review this information in advance of the meeting.

The Trustees remain focused on ensuring that the Association continues to operate with strong governance, clarity of purpose, and long-term sustainability for the benefit of our community.

All members and residents are welcome to attend.

The meeting will commence promptly at 18:00.
