This June, Wade Tovey MBE, Vice Chair of Nunthorpe Community Council and our own Vice Chair of Nunthorpe & Marton Playing Fields Association, is cycling an incredible 300 miles to raise vital funds for Dementia UK.
Inspired by his wife’s experience with dementia, Wade is on a mission to ensure that no family faces the journey alone.
Why this Matters:
Just £8 covers the Dementia UK helpline call costs for two families.
£33 funds an Admiral Nurse – a specialist supporting a family for an hour.

What Wade Has Achieved Already:
£1,400 raised – surpassing his original £1,200 goal with GiftAid, and donations are still rolling in!
He’s cycling the equivalent of cycling across the region on behalf of Dementia UK, amplifying support and awareness.
